The Slovenian non-profit health organization ZAVOD ENO released a study involving students and assisted-living facility residents. The students taught Asahi to the residents over a 5-week period with regular testing. The results showed that the residents' health improved during the period. This preliminary data was encouraging and suggests that more research be done.
